One-on-One Mentorship
2–4 hours · All levels
What you'll learn
This session is entirely yours. We start with where you are and where you want to go. If you're a beginner, we cover foundations and you leave with a clear path forward. If you're an intermediate photographer trying to make the leap to professional work, we dig into the things that are actually holding you back. If you're a working photographer who wants a second set of expert eyes on your portfolio, that's what we do.
No curriculum, no predetermined structure. Just two photographers working toward your specific goals for two to four hours.
Who this is for
The one-on-one is for anyone who wants more than a group setting can offer. Parents who want better photos of their kids. Photographers building a business who need honest feedback. Creatives who are technically capable but feel like something is missing in their work. People who have taken other workshops and want to go further.
It's also the right choice if you have a specific project, an upcoming shoot you want to prepare for, or a particular skill you've been trying to crack on your own.
What to bring
Your camera, any gear you regularly use, and anything you want feedback on. If you have a portfolio or a collection of recent shots you're unsure about, bring it. The more context you give me before we start, the more value you get from the time.
We can shoot in the field, review work at a quiet location, or both, depending on what serves your goals best.
What to expect
We'll have a brief conversation before we start so I understand what you want to get out of the session. From there, I follow your lead. I'll push back when I think you're capable of more, and I'll be direct when something isn't working. I bring the same standards to teaching that I bring to my own work.
After the session, I send a short written summary of what we covered and the most important things to practice. That note has been some of the most useful feedback participants have told me they received.
